The ITIL® V2-V3 Manager Bridge exam will no longer be available from June 30 2011.

This may affect individuals already certified in ITIL Service Manager, and those who are interested in reaching the ITIL Expert level.

What should I do? 

If you’d like to take any ITIL V3 intermediate modules, you’ll also have to take the ITIL V3 Foundation certificate. Here’s how you could plan your route :

V3 Foundation

PLUS

Service Strategy OR Continual Service Improvement

PLUS

Managing Across The Lifecycle (MALC)

Note: This alternative Bridge option will only be available to Service Mangers who are fully certified in ITIL V1 or V2 (both Service Support and Service Delivery components included). But individuals who choose this option should be aware that the credit system will not apply.   

And what about resits?

You won’t be able to resit the Manager Bridge exam after the expiry date, so please make sure you book and pass your exam well in advance.
