The BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis provides a professional qualification for
business analysts. It sets a standard by which business analysts may be assessed.
Holders of the qualification will have demonstrated competency in a range of skills and
techniques and will have passed examinations that assess performance across knowledge
levels 2-5.

To obtain the EXIN BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis, candidates must complete specific requirements outlined in a structured certification path. The process begins with choosing one of two Foundation modules: either “Business Analysis Foundation”, recommended for new professionals, or “Organisational Behaviour Foundation” for a managerial-focused path.

After the Foundation level, candidates need to successfully complete three distinct Advanced level modules:

  • Business Analysis Practice
  • Requirements Engineering
  • Modelling Business Processes

Once all module exams are passed, the final step is an Oral Exam, which assesses overall expertise and practical understanding.
