WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO GET CERTIFIED WITH EXIN?

In the DX & IoT Solution Department, we support corporate customers in realizing their digital transformation strategies. Recently, the term digital transformation has become popular worldwide, but there is no clear definition, and I felt that people have different ways of understanding it. Therefore, in order to learn the correct knowledge of what digital transformation is and what knowledge is necessary to realize digital transformation, I attended the VeriSM Foundation training course and took the exam in March 2021.  I was able to learn a broad overview of what digital transformation is. However, I felt I needed deeper and more detailed knowledge to support and lead our customers’ digital transformation to success, so I took the VeriSM™ Professional training and exam in June 2021.

WHAT VALUE DID THE CERTIFICATION BRING YOU?

I was very satisfied to learn in detail organizational structures for promoting digital transformation and specific methodologies based on the VeriSM™ model, which built upon what was covered in VeriSM™ Foundation. Case studies were used in the training sessions, which enabled us to learn and further improve our awareness of the practical aspects of the training, helping me absorb and understand the content that VeriSM Professional covers.

In my work activities, I aim to not only provide support for emerging technologies but also to drive entire projects with the digital transformation methods I learned with VeriSM™ Professional. In addition, I directly tackle the issues that arise in the field regarding our services and work with the planning department based on the VeriSM™ model to address them.

WHY SHOULD OTHERS GET CERTIFIED WITH EXIN?

I would recommend VeriSM™ Professional for executives, people involved in service planning and development, and people like me who are involved in supporting customers’ digital transformation efforts. In addition, I believe that the trend of digital transformation will accelerate even further in the future, so I hope that not only people in the IT industry but also people in all industries will learn this, using VeriSM™ as a basis.

Daiki Sato Daiki works for the KDDI Corporation. He works in the Digital Transformation (DX) & Internet of Things (IoT) Solution Department. This department lies within the Business IoT Promotion Division and is part of the Solution Business Group. He is responsible for technical support for IoT, AI, and data analysis for corporate customers.
