Why did you choose to get certified with EXIN?

I have worked as a Project Manager for IT infrastructure maintenance and construction at a System Integrator and in infrastructure planning and development at another firm. In my current role, I lead a Service Management team for an infrastructure outsourcing project at a consulting firm.

What value did the certification bring you?

I noticed that the EXIN certifications cover best practices in IT Service Management. Furthermore, I discovered that they cover many other best practice frameworks, such as Agile Scrum. Although I already had the PMP certification as a project management certification, the value-based approach of ITSM resonated with me. With this in mind, I expanded my interest and knowledge into the fields of SIAM™ for multi-service provider management and VeriSM™, as to me it’s Body of Knowledge is the best textbook for Digital transformation strategy.

Why should others get certified with EXIN?

By obtaining the ITSM Foundation level certification, I quickly caught up with the basic concepts of the ITSM framework that was required for a project I was working on at the time. However, I believed that obtaining a higher-level certification was valuable to deepen my knowledge and prove my professional expertise. My motivation for obtaining a career path certification was to keep my role-specific knowledge up to date to meet the needs of the times as a T-shaped professional, focusing on Service Management. I plan to continue my certification journey even further. I am considering getting the AI Foundation and Blockchain Foundation certifications to become an EXIN Digital Transformation Officer, a career path certification that includes VeriSM™ Professional.
